Collaboration Is the Key to Success in Ticketing

Ticketmaster and Live Nation merged in 2010, solidifying their status as a dominant player. SeatGeek became the primary ticketing platform for the New Orleans Saints in 2017 and the Dallas Cowboys in 2018, driving growth while offering the teams better technology and a better experience for fans. These kinds of partnerships, where goals and values are aligned, lead to rapid growth and expansion.

That’s why True Tickets is partnering with Logitix, which is leading our new equity financing. Together, we’re going to build infrastructure for in-person events that creates more consistency, transparency, and efficiency not only for venues and fans, but the industry at large.

Logitix + True Tickets = New Revenue Opportunities and a Better Experience

The massive mergers and exclusive partnerships in the in-person events space have led to growth and new ideas, but at the end of the day, one aspect of ticketing remains elusive: accountability. To put it simply, most venues, teams, and organizations still do not know a majority of the people who attend their experiences. Without the knowledge of who attends an experience, there is little ability to generate revenue or develop unique, curated experiences for fans and patrons.

These are the blind spots we will address.

Logitix is a leader in open distribution for in-person events. Its platform enables pricing optimization and real-time distribution and processing for venues, teams, and leagues alike.

True Tickets specializes in controlled distribution. Venues gain rules-based access controls, giving them a say in how tickets are transacted, from sharing to eventually resale. As a result, venues will have the knowledge of who attends each event, providing insights that can guide decisions about programming, promotions, marketing, and more.

Together, our partnership can give venues a more comprehensive service that reaches the right fans at the right price with an intuitive and secure solution. Our combined services will improve venues’ ability to generate revenue through dynamic pricing, while also allowing them to engage resale markets in a manner more aligned with their organization mission or goals. They will be able to adjust pricing based on the licensing restrictions for different levels of access, which wasn’t possible before the advent of controlled distribution.

Ultimately, our businesses are complementary from a market, business, and technology perspective, giving new control and opportunities to teams and venues.

Today Our Partnership Is About Focus

In the short term, we’ll both remain focused on our individual companies. Our goals are the same — increase revenue, build out our products, and grow our teams.

Logitix will continue adding new partnerships in existing and new verticals, improve the performance of existing tools, and continue to build the platform to meet market needs. It will also continue to grow an all-star team and find the right structure that will allow for rapid growth.

True Tickets will continue to grow as a Tessitura Network ecosystem partner and look to expand into the broader market, including professional sports. At the same time, we’ll continue to develop new features, including rules-based ticket sharing, as we continue to grow our team.

Tomorrow Our Partnership Will Be About the Future

In the long term, we’ll explore options and opportunities for how we can better integrate our services to bring more value to our clients and the industry as a whole. One thing that’s missing in the market right now is the connective tissue for venues that gives them consistency, standardization, and transparency regarding who accesses their in-person events. We aim to be that infrastructure layer for the industry, whether venues and partners need controlled distribution, rules-based ticketing, dynamic pricing, intelligence, or all of the above.

This will all play out in 2022 and beyond. In the first half of 2022, we’ll each focus on executing our current paths while exploring future opportunities. Then in the second half of 2022, we’ll ramp up that mutual exploration and discovery, and start to deliver.

To date, True Tickets has delivered nearly a million secure digital tickets with a market value well into the tens of millions in U.S. dollars, and we’ve scanned several hundred thousand of them as well. We’re in production as a mission-critical system for our clients across two continents, proven in the real world.

We are proud of what we have accomplished thus far. We are excited to accelerate our growth with Logitix in 2022 and beyond as we deliver groundbreaking solutions for our industry.
